That is not a guarantee. You should always call the tennis pro center for a court.

  1. Can I reserve a block of courts for special occasion?

  1. Do I need to be rated to play?

Definitely not.  Everyone of all levels is encouraged to play tennis at the West Chester Golf & Country Club.

  1. How Do I meet people to play with?

Our tennis professional can give you names of some members with whom you may enjoy playing.  You will be able to meet other players by taking part in any of the wide variety of tennis clinics, or in some of the special tennis events, such as the “Tennis Open House”, Member-Member or Member-Guest Tournament.

Perhaps the best, and most enjoyable way to meet other players, is to take part in our round robin tennis.  Just call and let tennis professional know 610-692-5611.

  1. Where do I find information on events, clinics, etc?

Each member will be given an events calendar complete with all instructional, social, and competitive programs planned for that particular season.  These schedules are always available in the tennis pro shop.  You can also check us out at our website at www.westchestercc.net and go the calendar section to find out about tennis events.

Also, read the tennis information in the club courier you receive every month to find details about special tennis events as they approach.  You will also find helpful tennis tips from our pros and team match results.

There are many opportunities for beginners.  Talk with Pete about private lessons or a personally designed program of instruction.

Check our website at www.westchestercc.net  or the bulletin board for beginner clinics, or get together with a few other beginners and set up your own clinic.

Attend a round robin or a “Hit and Giggle”.  Both are designed for all levels of play.  Just call and sign up, and Pete will make sure you play at a comfortable level.

  1. How can I join the team?
